RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Bad Shirts, your satisfaction is our top priority. We take pride in ensuring every order meets your expectations — if something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it right through an exchange, refund, or resolution.

RETURN & REFUND WINDOW

You may request a return or refund within 30 days of receiving your order.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return, your item must:

  • Be in new, unworn, unwashed condition, with tags and original packaging intact.
  • Be purchased directly from thebadshirts.com.
  • Include your receipt or proof of purchase.

Eligible for refund or free replacement if:

  • The product is flawed or defective.
  • The print quality is poor.
  • The delivered item differs from the design, size, or image shown on the website.
  • The size chart on our site contained an error.

We do not accept returns or refunds due to incorrect size, color, or design selection by the customer.
However, we do offer replacement support — you only pay shipping and a small handling fee (varies by product type such as T-shirt, Hoodie, or Sweatshirt).

Not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
  • Clearance, final-sale, or custom items.
  • Items sent back without prior authorization.

RETURN SHIPPING & COSTS

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except where Bad Shirts made a fulfillment error.
Once your return is approved, we’ll send a return shipping label and clear instructions on how to send your package.
Please do not return any items without confirmation, as unapproved returns may not be accepted or refunded.

HOW TO START A RETURN

To begin your return or refund request, please contact our Customer Service team with your:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos or evidence (if applicable)

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if:

  • The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

We’ll review your claim and arrange a free replacement or refund promptly.

Note: Minor issues like loose threads or slight color variations (up to 20%) may occur due to screen display differences or lighting. These are not considered defects.

EXCHANGE POLICY

We currently accept exchanges only for equal-value variants (for example, the same design in a different size or color).
The fastest way to receive your replacement is to return the original item and place a new order once your return is accepted.

ORDER CANCELLATION & MODIFICATIONS

All Bad Shirts products are custom-made to order.
You can cancel or modify your order within 6–24 hours of purchase. After that, production usually begins and we can no longer accommodate changes or cancellations.
Once your order has shipped, it cannot be modified or canceled until it arrives, at which point you may request a return per our policy.

REFUND PROCESSING

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we’ll notify you via email of approval or rejection.
If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 8–10 business days.
Please allow extra time for your bank or card provider to post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval, contact us at support@thebadshirts.com.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company — it may take time before refunds are officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as processing delays may occur.
    If you’ve done all of this and still haven’t received your refund, please reach out to us again.

COUPON, PROMO & DISCOUNT CODES

  • Promo codes cannot be applied to prior or existing orders.
  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash value.
  • Only one promo code may be used per order.
  • Orders modified using promo codes are excluded from cancellation eligibility.
